Dial up Number in Windows 95, 98 and Me |

Change the Dialup Phone Number |
Windows 98 Directions
- Open
'My computer' from
your desktop.
- Click on
'Dialup Networking''

Windows Me Directions
- Click on 'Start', 'Setting', 'Dialup-Networking'
 |
- Double Left Click on 'Schat.net' Icon or
- Right Click on the 'Schat.net' icon
(Menu Drops Down)
- Left Click Connect

- Enter in your Username and Password (confirm there are no spaces)
- Enter your local Dialup Number Under Phone Number
- Put a Check Mark next to Save Password

- Left Click Connect and your Computer modem will Dial.
- If Modem does not Dial you have a bad modem or Driver.
- If your enter in a new phone number and it will not Save
Click Here
- A Successful Connection is needed to save username and passwords
- When First booting up. If Windows asks you to login and you hit
escape. Username and passwords will not be saved.
