Connection Setup - Windows 95/98

8.   Now type your Username@schat.net and Password, given to you when we established your account. Click Next.

9.   Give the account a name, like Schat.net. Click Next.

10.   Select the Yes radio button to set up your email account. Click Next.

11.   Select Create a new Internet mail account. Click Next.

• If Existing accounts show you must delete them from Outlook Express

12.   Type the name you would like to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages. Click Next.

13.   Type the email address you were given when we set up your account. Click Next.

14.   Select POP3 from the Incoming Mail Server drop down menu. Type mail.schat.com in the next two boxes. Click Next.

15. Enter Your Account name (username@schat.net) and Password (make sure password is lower case). Put a check mark on Save password

16.   Check the box To connect to the Internet immediately...Click Finish. You should now be connecting to the internet. Congratulations!
