This article describes how to
check several Dial-up Setting.
- Set Auto Dial
- Change Dial-up username and password
- Remove Old Dial up Connections

- Username and password
- Active Internet Account

XP Category View
- Click Start, click Control Panel,
and then click Network and Internet
Connections.
- Click Setup or Change Your Internet Connection
- Skip to Step 4
OR
- From the Start menu, choose Control Panel.

Note: If you are running Windows XP in classic mode, your will need to select the
Start menu, select Settings, then choose Control Panel

Click the Switch to Classic View icon.
- If already in Classic View Double Left Click on the Internet Options
Icon

Now choose the Connections Tab
-
Put a dot on Always Dial my
Default Connection
-
Under Dial-up setting Select
Schat.net
-
Put a Check Mark on Automatically
Detect Settings.

Under Dial-up Settings enter
in your Username@schat.net and
password (lower case)

Select Ok (to close setting
window)
-
Select Ok (to close Internet
Properties Window)

Close Control Panel
-
